The Working Group appointed by the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technologies (IZTECH) is a grassroots Think Thank gathering representatives of organizations associated within IZTECH and invited experts who have experience and knowledge in the field of European Union Framework Programs and project implementation.
The Group’s mission is to represent the voice of the Polish community in the field of research and innovation policy of the European Union and EU Framework Programs on the national and European forum.
The purpose of the Group is to analyze and give opinions on the implementation of the Horizon Europe (HE) program and actions to increase the participation of the Polish high-tech sector in this program.
The group brings together representatives of organizations associated within the Chamber and invited experts with experience and knowledge in the field of European Union Framework Programs and project implementation. It consists of 37 people from 28 organizations:

The document was prepared as part of the consultation of the European Commission “Public consultation on the past, present and future of the European Research & Innovation Framework programs 2014-2027”
According to the presented position of the Chamber, the priority for the European Union should be to use the full potential of innovation in all Member States and regions of the Union and to combine the efforts of all entities involved in reducing barriers to innovation and the implementation of high technologies in Europe. It is important to introduce specific and practical mechanisms to support this process, as well as mechanisms for the effective inclusion of new institutions, in particular the so-called “islands of excellence” from EU regions with a low participation in the EU Framework Programs: Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.
The Position paper was cited among 6 other positions of organizations such as LERU and EARTO, by the influential portal – Science Business, dealing with the subject of research and innovation policy and the European Union Framework Programmes.
