The Working Group appointed by the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technologies (IZTECH) is a grassroots Think Thank gathering representatives of organizations associated within IZTECH and invited experts who have experience and knowledge in the field of European Union Framework Programs and project implementation. The mission of the group will be to represent the voice of the Polish community in the field of research and innovation policy of the European Union and the EU Framework Programs on the national and European forum. The group will pursue goals that include:

• exchange of experience and good practices related to the acquisition and implementation of projects in Horizon Europe (HE), including professional management
• identifying problems and challenges and preparing recommendations related to the implementation of HE projects in a high-tech environment
• analysis of the rules of participation and remuneration in HE from the point of view of Polish institutions
• analysis and recommendations regarding the participation of Chamber Members and Polish institutions in HE and European Partnerships
• analysis and recommendations on HE synergies with the European Funds for Modern Economy (FENG) program and other national programmes
• assessing and preparing a position on the implementation of HE, in particular the strengths and weaknesses of the European research and innovation system, EU missions, European partnerships and synergies with other EU programmes
• preparing a position on the future directions and strategic plan of HE for the years 2025-2027
• preparation of the position for the next EU Research and Innovation Framework Program
• preparing and promoting important initiatives in the field of Horizon Europe
• presenting the developed opinions on the national and European forum
• cooperation with the European Commission, European Parliament, Ministries, agencies, HPK/BPK, Chamber Members and domestic and foreign Partners

The first task of the Group is to prepare a position to be presented as part of the consultation of the European Commission “Public consultation on the past, present and future of the European Research & Innovation Framework programs 2014-2027“.
